Hand Arm Vibration

Excessive exposure to vibration through the use of hand held power tools such as chipping hammers, grinders, chain saws etc can effect people in many different ways, with the most common health effects being Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and Vibration White Finger.

The recently introduced Health and Safety Executive ‘Control of Vibration at Work Regulations (2005)’ has set action values and limits it defines will affect a wide variety of people in the working environment.

AEC offer consultants who can provide a competent and independent assessment of hand arm vibration exposure levels within your workplace in accordance with current guidelines.

On completion of the workplace assessment a full interpretive report will be produced with recommendations and advice on how to reduce employees exposure being made where necessary.
