Non-licenced Asbestos Removal Training

Asbestos Training Facilities

Duration: 1 day

The new Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 was implemented by the HSE on the 13th of November 2006. These regulations do repeal the current Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002, as well as the Asbestos Licensing Regulations and Asbestos Prohibition Regulations, creating a single set of regulations, (e.g. Specific mandatory training for all trades liable to be exposed to asbestos.)

It is a legal requirement that anyone who will be disturbing, removing or performing tasks with Non-Licensable Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM's) in their day to day work be provided with Asbestos Training.

AEC offer UKATA Non-licensed Asbestos Removal classroom training & host a monthly open course at our Trafford Park Offices.

Delegates who complete our expertly designed course are safely able to work with Non-Licensed ACM's including corrugated roof sheets, cement soffits, down pipes & soil stacks, Artex ceilings, Marley floor tiles, etc. Our training covers full removal of these items as well as ancillary tasks such as drilling, cutting & repair work.

Our course incorporate the Asbestos Awareness, which is a mandatory pre-requisite. This means you do not have to spend extra time and money on two separate courses.

What's more, we are able to tailor the training to match your exact business requirements & provide you with the means to be in full compliance with HSE regulations.

Our UKATA Non-licensed Asbestos Removal full day courses are available to be held at AEC or in house to suit your needs. Please contact our training team training@aec.uk.net
