P400 Pre-Assessments

Who should attend: Anyone considering taking P400 courses, exams or practical assessments
Summary: The P400 courses are designed for delegates who have a degree of experience in the particular area of activity the course covers. If delegates sit the course without sufficient background experience or do not attend a full training course, they are likely to be surprised by the depth of knowledge required to achieve a pass mark in the written examination and/or the practical assessment.
AEC offer a web-based or paper based P400 pre-assessment service. It is designed to allow persons considering a P400 course to assess their level of knowledge and identify any areas of weakness. It is aimed at ensuring that delegates sit exams and assessments when they are confident that they have the knowledge to pass.
Qualification: No qualification is given. Delegates receive a report detailing their performance over the key elements of the syllabus highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
