Who should attend: The course is suitable for those employees who may need to use a fire extinguisher in an emergency. It is also a requirement under the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that employees should receive training in the use of fire extinguishers and know what to do in the event of fire.

Summary: Real life film footage gives delegates an awareness of the dangers of how quickly small fires can spread. The course looks at the fact and fiction of fire, how fires spread and what to do if faced with a fire in the work place or at home. Delegates are given the opportunity to use the extinguishers on small, real fire scenarios.
