Fire Warden / Marshal
Who should attend: The course is suitable for those employees who may be part of a first response team or have responsibility for fire safety in the workplace. It is also a requirement under the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that key employees should receive training in the use of fire extinguishers.
Summary: The course is designed to provide delegates with the required knowledge to fulfil the role of Fire Marshal/Warden and update the knowledge of existing Fire Marshals/Wardens. It will also assist those with practical responsibility for fire safety within buildings to develop procedures and fire management systems. Delegates are given the opportunity to use the fire extinguishers on small, real fire scenarios.

Qualification: The delegates will have a greater awareness of the threat posed by fire in the workplace. They will have the knowledge and skills to both prevent fires from starting and understand what to do in the event of a fire. There is no formal assessment & a certificate of attendance will be issued to each delegate.
