Legionella Awareness Course

Duration: ½ or 1 day

Who should attend: Those given managerial responsibility for the safe operation of water systems in places of employment (the Responsible Person, Deputy Responsible Person, Duty Holder etc.)

Summary: This foundation course primarily deals with domestic water and air conditioning systems in buildings. However, it can be tailored as required to include specific plant or systems such as humidifiers, cooling towers and miscellaneous process systems in industrial settings. The course includes the use of presentations, video and individual exercises.

Qualification: Successful completion of the course will equip delegates with a thorough understanding of the elements that make up a comprehensive legionella management system and enable them to make informed decisions in terms of establishing and maintaining legionella control procedures. Delegates will receive a certificate of achievement and attendance.
